Modern Mopar Shootout mile

This is an open comp style drag racing class designed to attract a large variety of late model Mopar powered vehicles. Developed for any late model Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep-bodied car or Truck using a late model Mopar power plant
LY Platform Vehicles -08 and Later Challengers
LX Platform Vehicles-05 and later Charger, 300 Magnum
Jeeps- 05 & later Cherokee; 06 & later Commander
06 & Later Chrysler Aspen
Truck -03 & Later Ram; 04 & later Durango

1. Only late model 2003 or later Mopar based engines are allowed.
2. All races are on a .500 staggered pro tree and in an open comp format.
3. This will be an ALL RUN format.
4. Vehicles are required to be stock appearing and stock bodied.
5. All Vehicles must pass NHRA safety inspection for ET and Speed .
6. Vehicles must be driven to staging and to scales, Only report to staging when called.
7. No time throttle or RPM controls or delay boxes
8. Minimum of 2 qualifying passes. Lowest ET (-,10) will be your dialin for the day
9. Absolutely NO delay boxes, throttle stops, or timers allowed

General Race Information:
Saturday Brackets
35 Class entries minimum must be met to pay full purse payouts
If a class does not meet the class minimums, and the participants want to continue in a group, the advertised payout will be void and participants will be paid 80% of entry fees taken in.

Additional Race Information
1. Pro, Super Pro, Street will be run as ET Bracket, .500 full tree for all classes.
2. Compulink Cross talk will be used for Super Pro.
3. Classes will be randomly paired until the semifinals before being placed on a qualified ladder based on best reaction time.
4. Please display all car numbers and dial-ins on the right side (passenger side) of the car
5. Early Tech Will be open Friday from 6-10pm during test and tune
6. Roll Bars, You must have a roll bar in vehicle running faster than 11:49 NHRA Chassis tag is required on roll bars in vehicles running faster than 9.99
7. Roll cage certification is required for vehicles 9.99 seconds or quicker and/or for vehicles 135 mph or faster. Each second quicker you run, there are specific qualifications that are necessary to compete. Consult an official NHRA Rule book.
8. No trailers will be accepted inside the drag race facility until move in on Friday night before the event.
9. Race Radio Frequency 97.1 FM responsibility to tune your radio to this station and listen for information concerning your race call ups. They will be announced over the public address system and also broadcasted over the radio at 97.1 FM. tune your radio upon entering SGMP
10. Please only save a maximum of 4 racer pit parking on Friday entry. Any questions contact SGMP Staff
11. A 15 MPH speed limit in the pit area at all time please. Licensed drives only on pit vehicles
